We will be staying at the gorgeous Weda Cita Villa a Luxury Resort and Spa by Mahaputra….located in Ubud, the spiritual heart of Bali, where you will experience the calm of waking each morning surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The resort features a gorgeous accommodations, a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool, gardens, a beautiful terrace and restaurant, as well as an amazing yoga shala perfect for relaxed morning yoga or mediation sessions.
The resort also features the beautiful Weda Sita Spa that will put your mind, body and soul on a path toward total relaxation. From a full body massage, body treatment to aromatherapy and reflexology, with trained therapists.

Each day, for all wanting to participate, we will gently open ourselves up to the serenity of morning meditation and morning yoga in the beautiful dedicated yoga shala, located on the property.
No previous experience is necessary, our yogi will gently walk us through each process. As you start each day this way, breathing in the essence of Bali you will be amazed at how you feel.

- We will each learn the art of making Offerings, the culture of the local Hindu people in Bali and it’s one of the ways to sincerely thank the God and Goddess for there continued kindness and blessings in life. You can be part and feel a part of culture of Bali
- We will spend an beautiful day together creating our own individually designed mala beads, with one on one and group instruction, followed by a beautiful blessing ceremony of our malas by a shaman. Everyone will leave with their own gift of amazing mala beads to wear and use
- We will visit the sacred waters with our personal guide who will walk us through the purification and blessing ceremony followed with a chakra healing ceremony
- We will spend a day learning the art of creating a beautiful piece of silver jewelry with a master silversmith….and afterwards you can enjoy shopping in his gorgeous jewelry store! Bali is renowned for its spectacular silver and gemstone jewelry.
- We will spend a day creating our own individual batik piece under the guidance of master batik artist Widya and we will leave with a beautiful piece of artwork
- Open your self up each day with morning meditation followed by morning yoga in our beautiful dedicated yoga shala space,… and breathe in the essence of Bali ( no previous experience necessary, you can be seated in a chair or on the floor and completely optional ) Our yogi will walk us through the practice of morning meditation and relaxed easy flow yoga….all supplies included
- We will enjoy spending a day learning about and observing rescued elephants from Sumatra. Follow the elephants’ footsteps and enjoy their day which includes feeding them local fruits, bathing, and playing with mud.
- We will have a fabulous day trip to the amazing Tegalalang Rice terrace
and a waterfall
- We will enjoy a day trip to Canggu and then Seminyak where we will stop for lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean and enjoy touring through each town

- We will have the pleasure of a morning class learning the meaning of mala beads and how to use them, creating our own individual gemstone malas. A gift to you from Heart and Soul Retreats that we will each have with us, Guided by our “Mala Instructor” we will set intentions and blessings into our malas as we create them. We will be making these to use each day during the retreat for morning meditation…….the perfect, gift to you. Each attendee will choose her design and stones to create a unique mala. Supplies, class and ceremony all included
- You will feel part of this unique culture when learning about offerings and how they are made, We will be introduced to making various offerings including a Gebogan. A Gebogan itself is a form of offering that is filled with fruits, cookies and flowers, is designed beautifully on a top of high wooden plate called dulang to place the offering. You will be given a sarong to wear and enjoy mineral water, coffee or tea with traditional Balinese cakes. All included
- We will enjoy an amazing day trip to Canggu and Seminayk
- We will enjoy creating beautiful art journals as well as small art projects throughout the retreat, with one on one and group instruction with Nancy, all supplies are included. (Everything included)
- Enjoy a amazing day learning one of the most ancient and renowned art forms of Bali, Batik Painting, a wonderful tradition of hand painting fabrics as each of us will create a beautiful piece of fabric art under the guidance of a renowned Balinese batik artist. We will spend a day immersed in the creativity of Batik as we each create our own piece. Everything included
- Bali is known for its magnificent sterling and gemstone jewellery. We will participate in a private silver making class. Enjoy creating your own unique piece of sterling silver piece with professional silversmiths guidance…we will learn the techniques of basic silver jewelry making, all under the guidance of expert silversmiths. (All included)

- Embrace the serenity of Bali as we participate in an ancient Balinese Water Temple Purification Ceremony. A Bali blessing is a spiritual ceremony that is part of Balinese traditional custom consisting of purification, welcoming of good spirits and a final offering while the individual performing the ceremony chants mantras in ancient Sanskrit. Followed by a private chakra healing session
- We will enjoy traveling together on a day trip to Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, the heart of Bali, renowned for its magnificent location and splendid backdrops. Uluwatu is perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above the waves where you will breathe in the magnificent beauty that is Bali. Then afterwards we will head out for dinner
- Lets head out on a fantastic day trip to see the amazing rice terraces and take in the magnificent beauty of a couple of the most amazing waterfalls in Bali
- Since we are staying in Ubud its an easy trip to The Ubud Monkey Forest that lies within the village of Padangtegal, in Ubud. The village’s residents view the Monkey Forest as an important spiritual, economic, educational, and conservation center for the village. Here you will observe gray macaques living among forest-shrouded Hindu temples. There are many of points of interest that you can see here.
- Elephant day trip Ubud. We will spend a day learning about and observing rescued elephants from Sumatra. Follow the elephants’ footsteps and enjoy their day which includes eating local fruits, bathing, and playing with mud. You can feed them and get in the water with them.
